Here we explore TV broadcasting from the early days of analogue TV, using big Cathode Ray Tudes, to the digital era, 3D and what is planned in future years.

On successful completion of this course students should be able to:
• Understand the different between analogue and digital TVs.
• Understand transmission formats, encoding, and how this changed from black and white to colout to ensure backward compatability.
