COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this course you will learn how driverless vehicles work. How can they drive themselves? What technologies are needed? How do such vehicles operate in the real world where other drivers, pedestrians exist? If there is an accident, who’s to blame? There are many different levels of automation, from simple cruise control, to fully autonomous, with no driver at all.

Lesson 1: Autonomous vehicles.
In this lesson, section, basic terms used in autonomous vehicles will be covered
Included will be:
• Autonomous vehicle basic operations.
• Sensors.
• Safety factors and mitigations.
• History of autonomous vehicles.
• Vehicle manufacturers current activities
• The laws relating to autonomous vehicles.
• Different levels of autonomy.
Lesson 2: Autonomous vehicles.
In this lesson, we look at the implementation of and the future of autonomous vehicles.
• Design considerations.
• Algorithms.
• What the future has in store.
