COURSE DESCRIPTION
Here we explore the concepts and technologies behind Game Development.
We’ll discuss the various components involved in creating a game, such as design, programming, art, sound, and testing. Some popular game engines used in the industry, such as Unity and Unreal Engine will be introduced and their features and capabilities highlighted.
The process of brainstorming ideas, creating game mechanics, and designing levels or worlds will be described, the significance of game art and graphics, different art styles, character design, environment creation, and the use of 2D and 3D assets
Programming languages commonly used in game development, such as C# and C++ and topics like game physics, collision detection, and game AI.
For production, we’ll discuss the different types of testing, including functionality, performance, and user experience testing and an overview of the various tools and resources available.
